[ He's tired, and he's sore, and he's still fuckin' pissed about whats-his-face getting away. Sure they got the matrix back but at what cost? He's been in and out of the medbay since he got back, just double checking that nothing was seriously wrong with him, and now is his first chance to make it back to his room in what feels like ages.

Some cruise that turned out to be.

But despite his tiredness, Rodimus is not so sloppy as to not notice that something is different about his room. Well, it's hard to miss a gift basket but still. He didn't exactly give anyone else the access code to his room (other than Percy and Brainstorm but they were both off having a grand old time being nerds somewhere) which meant someone had snuck into his room while he was gone and left him something.

Logic says he should be concerned by this. And he is. But, as previously mentioned, he's tired. And sore. And it's a gift basket. If it's gonna blow him up at least it'll be fast about it.

But, as he approaches the berth, he finds quickly that it's not a bomb. No. It's... actually a really thoughtful set of gifts from... Antlers. Oh.

... oh.

Huh.

That sure does... hm.

He blinks a few times as he picks up the aged energon, turning it over in his hands. He doesn't know what would qualify as a "good vintage" really, but he's... actually pretty willing to take Antlers at his word for it. And he's never heard of an "Energon Star"...

He reaches next for the knife, inspecting it. He'd lost his last one, and this one was... oh it was nice. Nothing fancy his aft. A knife that could channel electricity--could it channel his fire?--and sharp like this? Something like this would have made all the difference to someone from his background. Even just on the Lost Light. ]

Ah, hell, I'm gonna have to send a thank you note back.

[ Thank you notes are not his forte. Writing isn't his forte. Maybe he'll just swing through Antlers' "throne room" and talk to him in person. That seems like a better call. Rodimus can do in person. But first... he couldn't just not say thanks and let Antlers think he was ungrateful... Ugh. _Ugh. Fine. He'd send a text. ]

He flips his wings in on themselves. A new trick he's so proud of learning. Allowing himself more space to move about as he lays sideways on his throne. Legs kicked to the air. Then back to his normalcy and to hide his childish glee.

He chuckles at how simple a response this is. How different then the commander who was in charge before his Prime took over. The soldier who earned his escape and Megatron allowed him to flee to space...

After all it was a mutual respect. The slaughter of Bots soon after was... just more of that respect.

Then he in turn response. Giving Rodimus his own wait. After all h e can't dare seem desperate. ]

Rodimus, what good to hear from you at last. I was growing worried your trip out... Well I hope it wasnt too aweful.

I'm very glad you enjoyed the gifts. The Knife is a simple learning trick. If you come down later, well I'll be happy to share its secrets.
