Change that to "fuck them up almost immediately."

It was exactly the kind of thing Rodimus needed after everything.

He laughed, grabbing for the bottle to take another shot. He could finish his paint job later when it hurt a little less to do it.

"I'm positive that if we walked into the shooting range right now Ultra Magnum would materialize from nowhere just to put our afts in the brig."

He made a face as the booze hit the back of his tongue, and coughed roughly as it tried to go in his vents.

"Primus' aft. Seriously. Next time we need to grab something that tastes better and work up to this."

"That's the dream," he said, grabbing the bottle and offering it in toast to Rodimus for his comment about Ultra Magnus. "Wouldn't you love to be put into place by a simmering hot spot like that."

He takes another swig and makes a face, coughing a little.

"The work up was all the shit you've just been through, my friend," he says, though it's a little strained as he waits for the alcohol to settle.

Rodimus shoots Shotlock an amused look. "Dude. Your commander kink is showing so badly right now." But it's lighthearted and said with a grin. He knows Shotlock's tastes after all, "Can't say I'm into Ultra Magnus, I'll leave that whole thing to you."

He takes the bottle back to snag another drink, then stands so that he can pour them both glasses. While he has no trouble sharing directly from the bottle, the glasses would make them both take it a little slower. No need to chug everything down in one go.

Also he's not sure how well his injuries are going to let him hold his alcohol.

"Here." He gives a glass to Shotlock, then tips his in a mock salute. "To surviving all the shit we have so far."

"It had better be," Shotlock says with a laugh. "I'm not anything if not honest about my interests. Besides. Commander and size, he has it all."

He takes the glass and pours himself some before handing the bottle back to Rodimus.

Toasting, he gives Rodimus a wink and takes a hard drink from his glass.

"And to surviving more."
